"From Bicycles to Vincent Van Gogh"
The collection is excellent, the service is very good and the reception is awesome. These nice people even serve you a cup of coffee or tea and a cookie, all on the house. This is a nice museum to experience how people used to live in Brabant. The museum is a succession, like a continuum, of recognizability from the early years. The many beautiful bicycles exhibited are fun, with getting on to those high contraptions requiring stairs. The sound effects are to die for. Brabant farmers’ lives in Vincent van Gogh’s time evoke special interest. Oirschot is a deservingly beautiful place for housing this museum. The insight into the lifestyles of people in Vincent van Gogh’s time is masterful.
