Zach takes the blame

Ending his statement, Zach said: "I ended up apologizing online because I realized that my actions did not reflect who I am as a person.

"I was just an idiot, and I’ll take the fall for it. I’m a grown man and I shouldn’t have behaved like that and it won’t happen again."

He later added a story with an apology to the cop: "To end all this, I just want to apologize to the trooper that I was rude to.

"He didn’t deserve it, and hopefully one day we meet under different circ*mstances."

More on Zach Bryan's statement

Zach told his Instagram followers, following his release: "I was in jail for a few hours. When I got there I kind of lightened up because I cooled off. Everyone was super kind. I was in my jail cell for a while."

Bryan was arrested and booked at the Craig County Jail at 6.42pm on an obstruction of investigation charge.

According to the artist, the night ended on a cordial note, and he shook hands with the officer who pulled him over.

Musician became 'more and more angry'

Zach added: “And like a dumbass, I was like, ‘Take me to f–king jail? What do you mean?’ So I get too lippy with him, he brings me over to his car, and I just didn’t help my situation at all.

"I felt like a child, it was ridiculous and immature. I just pray everyone knows I don’t think I’m above the law. I was just being disrespectful and I shouldn’t have been. It was my mistake.”

Zach said he became “more and more angry” in the cop car, adding that he began “mouthing off, like an idiot.”

Security guard was pulled over day of the arrest

The musician opted to travel to Boston the next day, with his security guard close behind.

“We’re like 40 minutes away, he’s behind me and I see him getting pulled over,” he said about the stop in Vinita.

“I go around the block and I pull back around. And I’m just sitting there, I didn’t get out of the vehicle or anything.”

Ten minutes later, Zach opted to check what happened, and the cop said that if he didn't return the vehicle, Zach would be going to jail."

Zach says he was let off with a warning

Via his Instagram Story, Zach explained what led up to the arrest.

“First thing he asks for is license and registration and my address,” he said.

“And I told him, ‘Hey man I don’t really feel comfortable giving you my address. I’m a musician and I’m not comfortable with it.'”

“He said if I didn’t give him my address he would take me to jail,” he continued.

“And I’m like, ‘Man, I’m not giving you my address.’ So he tells me to step out of the vehicle, he puts handcuffs on me, and I’m like, ‘Man what the hell is going on? Why are you doing this?'”

Bryan said the officer let him go with a warning when he "started respecting him" and stopped talking back.

He said via Instagram: "I’ve got seven Red Bulls in me, and I just wanted to be completely transparent with everyone who listens to my music about what happened with me getting arrested and everything.

The arrest ended in jailtime

Zach was released shortly after being booked.

Taking to social media, the star published a lengthy apology post on his X account. He said: "Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said.

"I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize.

"They brought me to jail, and there is a mug shot of me floating around.

"Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I’m just trying the best I can, I love you guys and I am truly sorry to the officers."

In a post on X, previously Twitter, the I Remember Everything singer stated on Tuesday that he would use all ticketing services, including Ticketmaster, for his forthcoming Quittin' Time Tour.

The decision reverses his ticketing approach for his recently concluded Burn, Burn, Burn Tour, which notably excluded Ticketmaster in a bid to address fan dissatisfaction with the corporation and the ticketing sector as a whole.

"Everyone complained about AXS last year. Using all ticketing sites this year," he wrote. "All my homies still do hate Ticketmaster but hard to realize one guy can’t change the whole system.
